Sinds eind april heb ik in de praktijk in Zuidlaren de 3D scanner van EVE protheses in gebruik. Onderhand zijn de eerste prothesen aangemeten en afgeleverd. Afgezien van wat aanloopproblemen, zijn we erg blij met het resultaat tot nog toe. De essentie van de EVE prothese is, een beter pasvorm op je lichaam, waardoor meer mogelijkheden qua bh’s, vermindering van zenuwpijn, oedeem, lichtere prothese dan standaard… kortom vele voordelen.
We scannen je bovenlijf met de EVE-scanner, met en zonder goed passende bh, we kunnen dan de e.v.t. bestaande borst spiegelen naar de andere zijde en daar een 3D-print van maken in Siliconen materiaal. Deze wordt dan in Haarlem gemaakt. Deze maatwerk prothese sluit dan als een puzzelstukje aan op je lijf. De EVE prothese is superlicht omdat deze lucht gevuld is.
